![]() ![]() Try to do some metagame testing to get a feel for your deck so you can talk about it better. Your friendly neighborhood Manaless Dredge specialist is here to answer a very commonly asked question that shows up in the subreddit and my PMs. People are not here to critique the brew you slapped together with zero thought. Please, make sure you include a description of what your deck is, what it intends to do, and specific questions that stimulate conversation. When posting deck lists, it is generally preferred that you link to a deck building site such as or something similar. It can be as simple as typing your query into google, along with the word Reddit, to see if your question has been asked before. Please do not try and sell cards or decks within this subreddit.Īll we ask is that before you post, do some research yourself to try to find the answer to your query. It also teaches a lot about triggers, phases, and priority, which many players of more traditional decks only have to think about occasionally. This subreddit is for players of any level of experience to discuss any topics regarding the Modern format, whether it is decks that pro's have been winning with, metagame discussion, card discussion, or home brews. I don’t think I would enjoy the deck as much of it was my only deck, but it’s super fun to work into the rotation and keep people respecting graveyard hate. Which is powerful, but it doesn’t really give you the full legacy experience. It’s such a linear, proactive deck that it demands your opponent interact on Your terms or get steamrolled. But many new players buy into it to “play legacy” and find themselves “playing Manaless dredge” instead. Honesty if Manaless cost $1000 to build I think it would get more respect. I run this list: the new green cards from 2019 really enable a lot of lines and consistency, and Force of Vigor in particular makes postboard games both interesting and interactive, it’s no longer the dice roll that many commenters here are saying. A year ago I wanted to get into manaless, but now things seem to have changed and I dont think I really have it figured out anymore. I’d bring Manaless to a smaller tournament any day. The breaking of one of the basilar concepts of Magic like having to play lands (or artifacts like the Moxes) to play your cards really fascinated me and so I started focusing on Manaless Dredge as my Legacy deck. Ive been playing the modern version (basically the regular list but fetchless because budget) for a while now and Ive been looking into the new Orim67 Manaless Dredge list, mainly because theres no LED or FoW. Personally I think Manaless is a legit deck that gets more hate precisely because it’s so cheap.
